Emotions

I hurt 

This pain is not fleeting no matter what I do I feel it seeping thru the edges of my defenses knocking down what I so carefully put up to help me stay on solid emotional ground.

I ache

I never thought you would be the cause never once imagine that you would make me  feel such loss never would have occurred to me that you would make me bear the burden of dreams lost.

I weep

Inside the tears rarely cease my soul wails for its other piece. The feeling of wholeness; the comfort, the peace that comes from your voice and touch seems always out of reach.

I pray

That you find happiness and joy, that you stop fearing love like a little boy, that you finally see how happy you make me and that your heart the world will finally see.

I wait

For a tomorrow that never comes, for you to look at me and finally say I'm done, for you to hold me tight and never let go to acknowledge that our love isn't something that makes you weak but gives you the strength to remake the world.

I hurt, ache, weep, pray and wait for all because of someday
