I can't

I can't write you a love song. 

I can't write you a love song there aren't any  lyrics to show that I care.

I can't write you a love song because the rhythm isn't there. 

I can't write you a love song because the chords don't exist.

I can't write you a love song because the lyrics feel like mist.

I can't write a novel of my love the words don't exist that have the right twist to express what is deep within. 

I could put pen to paper, but no words could explain our capers nor describe why my heart gets the vapors when you smile at me it's like you make my soul just grin. 

I could try to put some words in a poem when I'm alone to see what comes about. 

I could attempt to put my emotions at bay to find the right way to say that when you leave me alone my heart does pout, 

but when you're near all seems clear and like a rose I feel like my heart sprouts new shoots of our destinies roots and I feel cheer. Oh mi amor the joy I feel when you're near. 

I just wish I had the words to put you in my heart and let you see all you mean to me and all the promise of us I see.
