Deaf and It's Language 5/3/82

One day she decided to take a walk to see what she could find.
She decided for one day she would be someone else because she was tired of who she was.
As she walked along she kicked some rocks.
They did not hurt her feet as usual.
 She started to smile.
She felt good and free.
She felt good to be who she was with nothing to worry about.
This time she would go home when she felt like it.
If they yelled at her so what?
She'd just laugh at them.
That would shut them quick because they would think she was crazy.
She turned the corner, and there he was with his head in a book.
She started to laugh as she was running.
When she reached the rock he was sitting on, she gave a mighty shove and he fell in.
Luckily, he dropped the book, though he was wet.
He didn't mind, though because he was glad to see her.
He walked over to her, took his hands, and placed them on her heart while his lips made out the words, " I love you."
She nodded her head and repeated what he had done.
They spent the whole day at the beach chasing chasing each other, swimming and eating the coconuts.
If you walked along you'd hear nothing, but the splash of water.
You'd see nothing, but two people talking in a language entirely their own.
You wouldn't be able to understand because you couldn't "hear" them.
